Newsletter Feature: Bringing Nourishment and Hope to Ethnic Minority Children in Đà Lạt

Published on January 10, 2026 at 10:41 PM

Dear Friends and Supporters,

In the highland regions surrounding Đà Lạt, Vietnam, many ethnic minority families continue to face daily challenges related to poverty, limited access to healthcare, and childhood malnutrition. For infants and young children, these hardships can have long-lasting effects on their growth, development, and overall health.

Responding with compassion and faith, the Diocese of Đà Lạt has been actively supporting ethnic minority communities through charitable outreach programs focused on nutrition and child well-being. One important initiative has been the distribution of nutrient supplements, including baby formula, to families with infants and young children who are most at risk.

Through parish-based efforts and the generosity of donors, these programs ensure that children receive the essential nourishment they need during the most critical stages of life. For many families living in remote villages, this support is not only a source of physical health but also a sign of hope and solidarity.

Beyond nutrition, the Diocese continues to care for the whole child—supporting education, family stability, and spiritual growth. These efforts reflect the Church’s mission to uphold the dignity of every human life, especially the poor and vulnerable.

Because of your prayers and generosity, children who once faced uncertainty are now receiving proper nourishment, giving them a stronger foundation for a healthy future.

🙏 Thank you for standing with us in this mission of love and service.

Together, we are nourishing bodies, strengthening families, and planting seeds of hope.
